The Global-Local Custom Print Platform

About inksie

inksie is a global-local print platform that lets individuals and businesses print their own images, logos, photos, art, event merch and brand products across virtually every printable product. Designed to be the simplest way to turn personal content into the highest-quality physical products, inksie removes the traditional friction of custom printing. The platform operates a global-local model: while the company has a global reach, products are manufactured locally within specific regions including: US, UK, AU, CA, NL, ES, and DE. This approach ensures faster delivery times, lower shipping costs, and a significantly reduced carbon footprint. From a photo on a mug to a logo on a hoodie, inksie offers no minimums (on every product), bulk ordering, and a catalog that scales from individuals to enterprise businesses.

Mission & the inksie Name

At inksie, our mission is to remove the traditional friction of custom printing by making it finally easy, global, and reliable. Our promise is simple: if it can be printed, we will print it; if it can be supplied locally, we will produce it locally.

What's in the name? inksie is Ink + Easy. We are a "print-everything" platform designed to put "ink" on virtually any substrate, making the design-to-delivery process as simple as possible.

Our Manifesto

  1. We don't do "polished." We do real. We believe the world is cluttered enough, so we're here to strip away the noise until only the soul remains.
  2. The Cult of Simplicity: If it can be simpler, make it simpler. Simple is the solution for the complex.
  3. The Beauty of the Raw: Imperfection is better than perfection. Perfection is sterile; imperfection has a pulse.  Don't be a commodity... Be distinct. Be weird. Be inksie.
  4. The Bravery of the Doer: Hard is good. Ease leads to stagnation; friction leads to growth.

The inksie Creator Toolkit

We built our platform to eliminate tech-bloat and remove the traditional friction of custom printing. Whether you are a small business ordering staff uniforms or an individual creating a one-off gift, our proprietary design tools make the process seamless. We're not fancy and our customers like it that way.

Customizer

The heart and soul of inksie is our Customizer. We searched high and low to find a simple, user-friendly inksie way to do custom product designing. Nothing met the "easy" bar- they were simply too bloated and complex. So we built this from the ground up and included just a few features: 1500+ fonts, 10m+ icons, color pickers, sizing & style tools, and AI to vector generation. It's mobile first like everything we do and maybe, the easiest way to add a logo, upload or create text & images or use AI to design apparel products. Customize now.

Design Gallery

Another option to make a custom product is to browse our massive Design Gallery which we've opened up for free-to-use high-resolution PNG downloads. Browse more than 10k of our t-shirt designs. We've added pre-loaded searching to make it speedy backed by low-bandwidth thumbnails with color searching priority. Search by color name or keyword and you may find something to drop on a tee or hoodie, an easy option for a St. Patrick's Day tee or find a distressed flag, vintage illustration, gym quote ... the options are near endless. Use these on our standard product pages where you can also add text

AI-Prompt Gallery

Browse our database of customizable AI design prompts. Download the raw vectors or copy the prompt to customize it yourself. We wanted to show users a few examples of what we've generated. Feel free to use them as-is with the available svg and png files or change colors, names or text in the prompt to make it your own!

The inksie "Dot": Our Mark

If you look at the inksie logo, the dot above the first "i" is a bright, vibrant cyan. This isn't just a random pop of color, it’s a drop of ink.

Specifically, it represents Cyan, one of the four foundational pillars of the CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Key/Black) color model that powers modern, high-quality physical printing.

The Meaning: Just as a single drop of cyan ink is essential to creating a full, vibrant spectrum of colors on a physical product, inksie is the foundational starting point for bringing any creative vision into the real world.

The inksie Origin Story

Before becoming the global-local print platform that serves major enterprise brands and individuals alike, inksie started as a localized test. Founders Mike Fowler and Chris Laing launched two platform concepts in the Australian market, "TheHoodie" and "TheTee", which quickly found strong organic success.

Recognizing the potential to scale this localized approach globally, they merged and acqured multiple (US & UK) international print businesses to form a single, unified platform: inksie. Today, inksie is rapidly scaling to surpass legacy competitors like CustomInk, Spreadshirt, Zazzle, and VistaPrint by offering a completely frictionless design-to-delivery experience. By the end of 2026, the platform is projected to serve over one million global customers, averaging 2-3 items per purchase.

The inksie Production Model

inksie serves anyone who needs custom printing from individuals and households to enterprise B2B clients.

  • Decentralized Fulfillment: Rather than shipping globally from a massive central warehouse, inksie places small production and fulfillment sites geographically close to the end-user.
  • Hyper-Local Curation: Because clothing and print preferences are highly regional, inksie curates tight, unique product ranges tailored to local markets. This means that you'll see brands like Bella+Canvas well represented in the US, Stanley/Stella in the UK, B&C Collection in Europe, and AS Colour in Australia/New Zealand.
  • Ultimate Flexibility: The platform offers no minimum order requirements on every single product (without exception), making it just as easy to order a one-off item as it is to supply a massive stadium concert or leading marathon & sporting event.
